Profile Settings
Manage your account settings, preferences, and personal information in the Profile section.
Overview
Profile Settings allow you to:
- Update your personal information
- Change your password
- Manage account preferences
- View account activity
- Configure notifications
- Update security settings
Accessing Profile Settings
Navigate to Profile from the sidebar menu, then select Settings or click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.

Profile Overview
The profile overview displays:
- Name: Your full name
- Email: Your email address
- Role: Your user role (Admin, User, Viewer)
- Account Created: Registration date
- Last Login: Last sign-in time

Editing Personal Information
To update your personal information:
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Find the Personal Information section
- Update fields:
- Name: Your full name
- Email: Your email address (may require verification)
- Phone: Contact number (optional)
- Avatar: Profile picture (if supported)
- Click "Save Changes"

Changing Your Password
To change your password:
- Go to Profile → Settings → Security
- Find Change Password section
- Enter:
- Current Password: Your current password
- New Password: Your new password
- Confirm Password: Re-enter new password
- Click "Update Password"

Password Requirements
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
Security Settings
Two-Factor Authentication (If Available)
Enable 2FA for additional security:
- Go to Security settings
- Find Two-Factor Authentication
- Follow setup instructions
- Scan QR code with authenticator app
- Enter verification code
- Enable 2FA

Active Sessions
View and manage active sessions:
- Go to Security → Active Sessions
- View all devices where you're signed in
- See device names, IP addresses, last activity
- Click "Sign Out" to end a session

Notification Preferences
Configure notification settings:
- Email Notifications: Receive email alerts
- In-App Notifications: Show notifications in app
- Device Alerts: Notifications for device issues
- Schedule Reminders: Reminders for schedules

Account Activity
View your account activity:
- Recent sign-ins
- Password changes
- Profile updates
- Account modifications

Preferences
Language and Region
Set your preferences:
- Language: Select interface language
- Time Zone: Set your time zone
- Date Format: Choose date format
- Time Format: 12-hour or 24-hour

Display Settings
Customize your view:
- Theme: Light or Dark mode (if available)
- Dashboard Layout: Customize dashboard
- Items Per Page: Table pagination
- Default View: Preferred default page

Deleting Your Account
To delete your account (if allowed):
- Go to Settings → Account
- Scroll to Delete Account
- Read warning message
- Enter password to confirm
- Click "Delete Account"
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Exporting Your Data
Export your account data:
- Go to Settings → Privacy
- Find Export Data section
- Click "Request Export"
- Wait for export to generate
- Download exported data
